JOY PINOT NOIR

After 10 years making wine for the family winery, Marcell Bukolyi struck out on his own and formed his own winery in 2016. The winery is 14 hectares, and it is the only fully certified organic winery in Eger. It is located on the foot of the Nagy-Eged hill, with rich chalk soils and a volcanic subsoil.

The Joy Pinot Noir is from a single limestone vineyard belonging to Bukolyi on the Nagy-Eged hill in Eger. It underwent partial carbonic maceration (20%), and was spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel.

Joy is a medium-bodied, energetic wine, with flavors like strawberry, cherry and chai spice on the nose and palate. Long mineral finish. Unfiltered and unfined, certified organic.
