AMBER GROW

2021

A Nagy Bajuszú Jász Laci is a small wine project on the volcanic hill of Somló. The winemaker Jász Laci loves experimenting with forgotten varietals and ancient winemaking methods. Jász Laci's "Amber Grow" is an extended skin-contact Olaszrizling from Jász's black basalt volcanic vineyards on Somló. The name "GROW" is an acronym for the various regional names of the variety - Grasevina, Riesling Italico, Olaszrizling and Welschriesling.

The wine spent 4 months on the skins and 6 additional months on the lees before bottling. Smoky, intense and deep, with flavors like ripe pineapple, grapefruit and guava. Organic, unfined and rough filtration only.
